Christopher Egi is a Harvard JD/MBA student and former captain of both the Harvard basketball team and the Canadian Junior Men’s National Basketball Team. A native of Toronto, Christopher was Canada’s #1 ranked high school basketball player and a national champion at Montverde Academy, where he played alongside future NBA stars.
Christopher’s leadership extends beyond the court. He delivered the Harvard College Commencement Address, where he spoke about resilience, equity, and driving systemic change. He is also the founder of No More Names, an initiative created in the wake of George Floyd’s murder to address racial injustice. Through this work, Christopher collaborated with college athletes nationwide to advocate for NIL rights, the College Athlete Bill of Rights, and racial and criminal justice reform.
After graduating, Christopher took on a role investing in startups, with a focus on increasing access to funding for founders of color. His current work is centered on building intersectional solutions at the crossroads of sports, business, law, and community impact, leveraging his unique experiences to empower others and drive meaningful change.
