CEO + Founder of X Movement: Kaela is a 20 year veteran working in the fields of: children’s education, entertainment, technology and gaming, mental health, physical wellness and social entrepreneurship. She is deeply driven by her mission to see peace in her lifetime and is dedicated to supporting kids aged 6-12 (as the future leaders) in building critical life skills to help with their later success in solving some of the world’s global challenges.
Kaela started her first business at aged 11 - a leadership club for youth, began a career as a Film/TV actress at aged 15 including staring in a youth social impact TV show, toured Australia delivering Anti-bullying educational shows through public schools at aged 18 and worked alongside a globally renowned international Children’s Entertainment Producer. Kaela studied law/commerce at University of Monash in Melbourne, Australia.
Kaela built a successful career as a start-up and Fortune 500 Project Manager and Consultant, helping organizations from concept to development phase, of launching new businesses and technology products. Passionate about entrepreneurship and social change, Kaela participated in many social-impact initiatives including: first cohort of graduates for the School for Social Entrepreneurs, Agent of Change through Centre for Social Innovation, UN Ambassador for Youth, Unify - Global impact training Initiative, Leaders for United Global Shift program in NYC. Kaela served as the Chair of the Board for Toronto Youth Day for many years, and the Chair of Advisors to the City of Toronto for Youth Entrepreneurship. Kaela mentors countless young entrepreneurs and was a co-founder of SheEO, a women's business accelerator originally focused on women social-impact entrepreneurs. Kaela is dedicated to working at the intersection of - technology, game-based learning, behavior science, wellness and life skills, children’s education and entertainment and social entrepreneurship to build effective solutions for a better world.
